Atrium Family Dental is committed to a high level of social responsibility and regularly sponsors and participates in a variety of local community events.
To keep our neighborhood at its best, we are actively involved in creating a healthy and sustainable dental clinic. To help minimize our economic foot print, we utilize digital X-ray technology and digital communications to effectively limit the amount of paper waste and chemicals in our environment.
Every year, Dr. Sudman hosts a free dental care event through Dentistry From the Heart to support New Lenox residents and those in surrounding communities by providing free dental care for those in need. Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) is a worldwide, nonprofit organization that works with thousands of individual dentists, hygienists, volunteers and practices across the world that donate their time and resources to host their own DFTH events.
Atrium Family Dental is “The Home of Dentistry From The Heart in New Lenox.” We are proud to be the original and ONLY provider of this event in New Lenox, with this being our fourth year participating in the non-profit event.

In February 2016, we sponsored and participated in the L.A.M.P event. This event is for the Feed My Starving Children organization. The event’s sole purpose is to raise money to pack scientifically designed nutritious meals to be sent to children in third world countries. The event aims to end child hunger and raise awareness about starvation occurring around the world. According to UNICEF, 6,200 children die a day from starvation or hunger related diseases. With L.A.M.P, we were able to provide a years worth of meals to 468 children! That is 468 children who won’t die of hunger or hunger related diseases this year. We packed a total of 37,584 meals! The L.A.M.P. event has provided over a million meals to children in need! To participate in future events, check out the dedicated Facebook page to stay updated. We hope to see you there next year!
